Aldo Merusi (1908-1980) was the Rutland Herald chief photographer from 1937 until 1974, and he continued to submit photos until at least 1978. His “people” photos, especially of children, are remarkable for their vitality and immediacy. Our hope for this website is that visitors will help us identify the subjects in the photos, who are mostly anonymous.
