    The state has introduced a new online website to help communities become more resilient to natural disasters.

    The website, Flood Ready Vermont, can be accessed at www.floodready.vermont.gov. The site contains maps and information regarding flooding, as well as instructions on how to prepare for disaster by accessing the Emergency Relief and Assistance Fund.

    The site also includes information on how to identify flood hazards, take action to minimize future damage, find funding to reduce risk to buildings, update community plans in the event of a flood, and find out what communities are doing to prepare for natural disasters.
