ST. ALBANS - Police in Vermont have found two fugitives paddling in a row boat in in Lake Champlain's St. Albans Bay.

St. Albans Police Chief Gary Taylor says John Vincelette and Jessica Labelle were seen in the boat Saturday morning. The two later were found by two game wardens from the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife who were conducting marine patrol in the North Hero and St. Albans Bay area.

Taylor said Vincelette was wanted on an escape from furlough charge and Labelle was wanted on charges of narcotics and false pretenses.

They were taken to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility and held for lack of $75,000 bail.

It's unclear if Vincelette and Labelle have attorneys.
