GREER, S.C. — St. Johnsbury native Trevor Murphy posted an 8-under par 64 Friday and is co-leading the Web.com Tour’s BMW Charity Pro-Am.
Murphy, a former North Carolina-Charlottegolfer who has finished in the top 10 in each of his two tour starts this season, put up his score at Green Valley.
The three-time Vermont Amateur champion, now of Scottsdale, Ariz., is tied with Kyle Reifers, the 2006 Chattanooga Classic winner.
