SHREWSBURY — Voters approved everything before them Tuesday.
The $1,831,558 town budget was approved 198-63 and the $1,136,289 school budget was approved 183-81. All other items on the town meeting ballot passed.
Shrewsbury voters had three officers for which there were no ballots. Previous Selectman John Wood, who had not run, received 33 write-in votes. Town Clerk Mark Goodwin said Wood has yet to “consent to serve” late Tuesday night.
Similarly, previous lister Betsy Jesser got 12 write-in votes for a vacant lister post and 22 for the vacant second constable post.
Goodwin said turnout was 266 out of a checklist of 907, which is roughly 29 percent.
