PITTSFORD — Jeryl Stephanie Larson, 57, of Pittsford, Vermont, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Banner Desert Memorial Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, following a long illness.
Jeryl was born April 23, 1956, in Toms River, New Jersey. She was the eldest of four girls, of Gerald C. and Jacqueline M. Johnson of Lavallette, New Jersey.
Jeryl lived and grew up on the Jersey Shore in the town of Lavallette, where she met her husband, Dr. Robert C. Larson. Jeryl loved shore life, enjoying the sun, sand, swimming, sailing, fishing, clamming and collecting sea glass on the beach.
Robert and Jeryl, both 1974 graduates of Point Pleasant Beach High School, were married August 7, 1981. Following 4 years in Kansas City, Missouri, where Jeryl and Robert completed their education, they returned to the East Coast and have lived and worked in Pittsford, Vermont, since 1984. There they raised their 3 children: Jack A. Larson of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Jessica R. Larson of Alexandria, Virginia, and Robert “Jamie” J. Larson of Pittsford, Vermont.
Jeryl worked with her husband for 25 years as a medical assistant in his Chiropractic Clinic, and later pursued her gifts and talents in Metaphysics. She had so many wonderful accomplishments, besides being that loving wife and nurturing mother we will so miss. Jeryl was an Angel Therapy Practitioner, Certified Past Life Reader and Healer, and the founder of Divine Mystic Wisdom program. She was also the host of weekly radio broadcasts on the 12 Radio. She produced and published a meditation CD, “Soul Stories”; Past Life Regression through the Doors of Perception.
Jeryl was survived by: three sisters, Joann Johnson of Milford, New Jersey, Jae Smith of Watertown, Massachusetts, and Julie Boline of Wilmington, Delaware; and her granddaughter, Madison. Two weeks following Jeryl’s passing, her mother, Jacqueline M. Johnson passed on February 3, 2014. She is predeceased by her father, Gerald C. Johnson and her grandparents, John and Josephine Roeth.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date, to be announced.
