• Woman veers off road into embankment

    HARTLAND - Slick roads sent a New Hampshire woman off the road and to the hospital Saturday night, police said.

    According to state police, at approximately 8:47 p.m., 22-year-old Brianna Booth, of Claremont, N.H., was driving south on Interstate 91 near exit 9 in a 1997 Honda Civic when she hit she hit a patch of snow and went off the road.

    Police said the car traveled down an embankment and struck a tree stump. Hartland firefighters removed Booth from her car and she was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. with an injury to her leg, according to police.

    She was treated and released, according to a spokeswoman for the hospital.
