CAT-TV open house is Tuesday
BENNINGTON — Catamount Access Television will host an open house at their studio on Main Street from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
CAT-TV operates the area’s local public, educational and governmental access channels, on channels 15, 16 and 17, and provides access and training for local citizens to make use of those channels.
During the open house, community members can sign up for videography, studio production and editing classes; tour the studio, control room and editing suites; and watch a green screen demonstration. Information will be available for nonprofit organizations on how to submit community bulletin board news, video public service announcements and programs that will get the word out about their organizations.
Members of the CAT-TV staff will be available to answer questions and light refreshments will be served.
Those people who live, work or go to school full time in Bennington, North Bennington, Pownal, Woodford and Shaftsbury can become members of CAT-TV for free. Others may become members for a nominal fee.
