In an article published July 24, the Herald falsely named me as a participant in an incident involving a gun on the premises of the Castleton Elementary School. This outrageous misinformation has done me immeasurable and widespread harm in the community, even triggering an investigation by the Department for Children and Families concerning the well-being of my toddler son. Castleton Police Chief Bruce Sherwin can attest that I was in no way connected to this incident.

Your reporter, Brent Curtis, needs to get his facts straight before tying someone to criminal activity in such a libelous manner.
