Very glad to hear of Mrs. Gartner’s visit with her “toddler” to Rutland’s emergency room and that she was given a room and immediate attention in under five minutes.

I am an 86-year-old “toddler” and have been to the emergency room several times in the last year. Examples are:

Once with pneumonia, four-hour visit before being seen.

    Severe bloody nose, five-hour visit.

Severe stomach problems, arrived at 5 p.m., saw the doctor at 11 p.m., admitted at 1:30 a.m., in bed at 3 a.m., 10 hours later.

Makes quite a difference what age “toddler” you are, I guess.
