    WEYBRIDGE — Marilyn Ruth Dupoise, 83, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at her home.

    She was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Middlebury, the daughter of Harold and Ethel (Sterling Boardman) Crowe.

    She was raised in Bridport, moving to Weybridge in 1942. She received her education in Bridport, Weybridge and Middlebury schools.

    She married David J. Dupoise on June 30, 1947.

    She was involved in child care for most of her adult life and also cared for elderly family members.

    She was a communicant at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Middlebury.

    She enjoyed gardening and fishing.

    Survivors include three sons, Gary and Craig, both of Salisbury, and David of Ripton; three daughters, Elaine Newton of East Middlebury, Barbara Ouellette of Proctor, and Marsha Wimble of Northfield; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband David in January 1992, a son Michael in January 1977, a grandchild Heath in September 1978, and two sisters, Eleanor Quenneville and Ruby Parent.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Middlebury. The Rev. William Beaudin, pastor, will be the celebrant. A private graveside committal service and burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

    Friends may call Friday, July 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society of Vermont, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495; American Heart Association Vermont Affiliate, 434 Hurricane Lane, Williston, VT 05495; or Champlain Valley Agency on Aging, 76 Pearl St., Suite 201, Essex Jct., VT 05452.
