    Vermont’s Norwich University is getting a new director of the school of Architecture and Art.

    Norwich said Cara Armstrong will begin her role as interim director at the Northfield school on July 1. Armstrong has been a visiting professor at Norwich for the last two years.

    Norwich’s school of Architecture and Art is within the College of Professional Schools.

    Norwich offers a bachelor of science in architectural studies and a master of architecture.

    Armstrong is co-author of two architecture related books.

    She’s also the author and illustrator of two children’s books and curator of more than 10 architecture and design related exhibitions.
