    Staff Report

More storms are moving into the region today.

Green Mountain Power spokeswoman Dorothy Schnure said shortly before 4:30 p.m. thunderstorms are expected to hit the southern portion of the county "any time now."

The National Weather Service reports these storms could produce small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain.

New rainfall – less than a tenth of an inch – is expected, the weather services reports; however, higher amounts are possible with thunderstorms.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely, before midnight.
