    WINDSOR — Margaret L. Robideau, 88, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor.

    She was born Nov. 11, 1924, in Windsor, the daughter of Lewis W. and Grace (Lapine) Lapine.

    She graduated from Windsor High School in 1942.

    On Sept. 13, 1947, she married Francis L. Robideau in Windsor.

    Mrs. Robideau was employed as a bookkeeper at the former Osgood Store in Windsor for several years, before raising her family. She later worked as a bookkeeper for the town of Windsor for many years until retiring in 1986.

    She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, an avid reader, and enjoyed swimming and traveling.

    Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Robideau of Windsor; a brother, Robert Lapine of Springfield; six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

    She was predeceased by her husband in 2007; a son, David Robideau, in 2008; and three siblings, Helen Norman, Raymond and Henry Lapine.

    The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, where a calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service with the Rev. Raphael Nyabenda, pastor, as celebrant. Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Windsor will be followed by a reception.

    Arrangements are under the direction of the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor.
