CAVENDISH — Yolande Mastroianni passed peacefully in Springfield Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 6 p.m. Her loving family surrounded her. She is survived by her son, Tom Naclerio, and her daughter, Victoria Mastroianni. She also leaves behind her sister, Ann Chiarella, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Close to her heart were also the many nieces and nephews who brought her so much joy over the years.
Yolande was born on August 13, 1922, in the Bronx, N.Y. She moved to Vermont in the mid-1950s and settled in Cavendish with her family. She will be remembered always for her attentive and loving manner, touching many people of all ages. Yolande cherished her family and found endless joy being part of those in her community. She had such a caring and giving heart, always extending a hand to those in need or just simply out of love. We, whose lives were touched by her, suffer a great loss. Yet, we know her love for all of us will live on in our hearts. May she rest in peace with our love for her.
The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Yolande will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Proctorsville, Vt.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 12 Meadow St., Ludlow.
