Police probe maple syrup theftMay 25,2013MONTPELIER — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of 400 gallons of maple syrup in Starksboro.
Police said David Allen reported Friday that the syrup was stored in bulk barrels, and was valued at about $1,200.
