• Police: man hits 111 mph on 103

    Vermont State Police said a Mendon man was clocked going 111 mph on Route 103 in Clarendon.

    Police said Donald Mailhiot, 41, was cited to appear in Rutland criminal court July 1 on a charge of excessive speed.

    Mailhiot was heading north at 8:50 a.m. Monday, police said, when they clocked his speed using Doppler radar.
