    NORTH HARTLAND — Charles M. Smith, 66, of North Hartland, passed away on April 13, 2013, in Zephyrhills, FL, where he had lived since 2004.

    Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony’s in White River Jct., VT, on June 28, 2013, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Richard Tinney of St. Pius the X officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life at Dave and Gail Smith’s in Thetford to follow.

    Charles was born in Hanover, N.H., to William and Evelyn Smith on July 10, 1946.

    Charles went to high school at Hartford High School, and graduated in 1964.

    He worked as an installer/repairman for the phone company for 32 years with perfect attendance. He also worked in telecommunications for Dartmouth College from 1997 to 2004.

    He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, traveling, and playing golf, as well as countless acts of helping others.

    Charles is survived by his son Tony, daughter-in-law Kelly, and grandchildren, Jonah and Molly of Chattanooga, TN; his siblings, Sandy, Howard, Barb, Dave and Jim, their spouses, children and grandchildren. He is also survived by an aunt, uncle, and several cousins.
