    FAIR HAVEN — Bonnie Frances Smith, 71, of Fair Haven died Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.

    She was born May 16, 1941, in Rutland, the daughter of Oville and Rita (Leonard) Boulé.

    Mrs. Smith graduated from Fair Haven High School in 1959, and the Thompson School in Brattleboro in 1960, with a nursing degree.

    She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for a few years at the Glens Falls Hospital.

    Mrs. Smith had attended the Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church and was a member of Fair Haven Congregational Church.

    Survivors include two sons, Ivan Smith of Fair Haven, and Jean Paul Smith of Pittsford; a granddaughter, Catalina Smith of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Paul and his wife Leah Boulé of Whitehall, N.Y., Terry and his wife Gail Boulé of Fort Anne, N.Y., Jim and his wife Patty Boulé of Lake Hortonia and Brooksville, Fla., and Timothy and his wife Jennifer Boulé of Fair Haven; a sister, Nancy Keith of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

    She was predeceased by her husband, Jan Smith in 2007, and a brother, John Boulé in 1983.

    Per her request, there will be no public service.

    Arrangements are by the Durfee Funeral Home.

    The family would like to thank the Rev. Marsh Hudson-Knapp from the Fair Haven Congregational Church, The Rev. James Lawrence from Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church, the Rev. Justin Baker from Christ the King Church, Indian River Nursing Home and the staff at the Rutland Regional Medical Center for the excellent care they gave her and the hospitality they provided to her family, especially Eva; Kayla from ICU; and Margaret and Meaghan from the 5th floor.
