    MONTPELIER - Vermont's unemployment rate in March fell to 4.1 percent, the state Department of Labor announced Friday. The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate declined 0.3 of a percent from February.

    The national unemployment rate was 7.6 percent, down 0.1 of a percent from February.

    March represents the eighth consecutive month without an increase to the state unemployment rate.
