WEST FAIRLEE — Vermont State Police said they broke up a party that included underage drinkers late Friday.
Police responded when a resident reported an unusually high volume of traffic on Bear Notch Road in West Fairlee at about 10:30 p.m.
Trooper Eric Jollymore said Saturday that officers came upon a large party in the woods near a home.
“Several personswere found to be under the age of 21 and having consumed alcohol,” the trooper said.
The party was disbanded, Jollymore said. The minors were released to adults and instructed to participate in the Orange County diversion program.
