Judith L. Geno

PITTSFORD — Judith Carolyn (Lear) Geno, 77, of Pittsford, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home.

She was born on March 12, 1936, in Rutland, VT. She was the daughter of Lisam and Ethel Geno, and lived in Rutland County for most of her life.

Judy was a loving mother to 10 children and their families: Paul Lear, Howard and Nancy Lear, Brenda Lear and her fiance George Carver, Daniel and Lisa Lear, Fawn and Richard Burdick, Gordon Lear and his fiancee Terry Jackson, Shawn and Amy Lear, Shane Lear, Robert and Brenda Colburn, and Greg Colburn and his fiancee Heidi Searle.

Judy was a dear grandmother to 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Judy was predeceased by both her brothers, Charles E. Geno and Richard L. Geno. She is survived by her sister Winifred Smith, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Otto.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on March 23, 2013, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Knights of Columbus, in Rutland. All are invited to celebrate and share their memories and stories.
