to speak at GMC
POULTNEY — Human rights activist Angelica Harris will speak at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Green Mountain College.
Harris, an author and abuse survivor, will share her life’s work and talk about her experience in creating a school program for struggling New York City teens.
She uses her personal story to raise awareness of domestic violence and to help others find healing.
The presentation is free and open to the public. It will be held in Room 017 of Bogue Hall at GMC. For more information, call 287-8299.
