I had serious car damage to my car two years ago on the city street when it was being stripped to be paved. The paving company blamed the city, and the city blamed the company. I turned in all receipts and information to the city and got a runaround for three months, then nobody would answer or return my calls. I wrote an explanation letter to Mayor Louras and sent him 10 to 20 emails, and he didn’t answer one of them. I got stuck with over $500 in repair bills. Ignored by the mayor and city. Why do I pay taxes?
