A Brandon man stopped in Rutland for a motor vehicle violation was arrested and charged with a pair of criminal counts after Vermont State Police say they learned his license was suspended and a stolen computer was found in the car.
Christopher E. Richards, 45, was stopped while driving Sunday on Church Street in Rutland, police said. In the car, troopers found a Dell laptop reported stolen from a Killington home on Thursday.
He was released with a citation to appear in Rutland criminal court in March.
