I wish to thank an unknown angel that certainly touched my life, on Saturday night, Jan. 12, at around 6:30. I was on my way home from Rutland traveling south on 103, just before the Clarendon store, when a car driving north flashed their lights at me. My immediate reaction kicked in, and I put on my brakes. If I had not, I would have smashed head-on with a fairly large deer. As it was, I do not know how I missed it. If it had not been for this person, I probably would have hit and done serious damage to my vehicle or perhaps to myself. My sincere thanks to whoever you were. A lesson learned and one to pay forward.
