• Sheriff's semi-automatic weapon stolen in Clarendon

    A Rutland County Sheriff's Department service weapon was stolen in a Clarendon burglary, Vermont State Police said Tuesday.

    Police said the .40 Glock semi-automatic pistol was taken along with about $2,000 in cash and some checkbooks from a home on East Clarendon Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 773-9101.
