Frances C. Rumboldt

BENNINGTON — Frances C. Rumboldt, 88, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 30, 1924, in Bennington, the daughter of Harry and Ruth Campbell, and received her education locally.

In earlier years, Mrs. Rumboldt was employed sewing at various Bennington area mills, including Thomson Mill, EZ Mill and CB Sports.

She enjoyed scrapbooks, puzzles, and watching and listening to birds.

Survivors include a son, Richard Rumboldt Jr. of Bennington; six grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard R. Rumboldt Sr.; four siblings, Mabel Bishop, Richard, Carl and Bill Campbell; and a stepdaughter, Rosie Dean.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home where friends may call from 10 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be in Woodford Cemetery.
