The Rutland City Police Commission would like to offer our congratulations to Adam Lucia, Rutland Cityís newest graduate of the Vermont Police Academy. Officer Lucia grew up in West Chazy, N.Y. He graduated form Beekmantown (New York) High School. Adam attended Air Force basic training and served in the United States Air Force Guard as a security policeman. He attended Clinton Community College. We are pleased to welcome Officer Lucia to our full-time permanent roster.

We also want to extend our appreciation to Officer Ted Washburn and Officer Jennifer Czachor who served as basic training assistants to this, the 94th basic training class of the Vermont Police Academy. Their mentoring of these future police officers is a valuable contribution to the trainees and also serves as an opportunity for Officers Washburn and Czachor to gain important leadership skills.

Please join us in offering all of these police officers our appreciation for their contributions and their success.

    LAWRENCE G. JENSEN

    (Chairman,

    Police Commission)
