A popular holiday fundraiser is back.
Three Tomatoes in downtown Rutland will once again host the three-day “Celebrity Servers” event to benefit the Community Cupboard on the first three Wednesdays of the month, starting this Wednesday.
Local community members have agreed to wait tables and all of their tips will go to the Community Cupboard.
Community members taking part as celebrity servers for the event include John Valente, a Rutland attorney, Steve Wilk of Wilk Paving, Tara Kelly, executive director of Rutland Area Farm and Food Link, John Casella of Casella Waste Management, David Wolk, president of Castleton State College, and Tom Huebner, president of Rutland Regional Medical Center.
