NORTHFIELD — Norwich University will host a lecture by one of the world’s foremost futurists, who argues abundance for all is within the grasp of the people of the world.
Peter Diamandis is the chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation. He is scheduled to speak Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Plumley Armory on the school’s Northfield campus.
Diamandis is co-author of a book which lays out a plan by which the world will soon be able to meet and exceed the basic needs of every man, woman and child on the planet.
Diamandis’s appearance in Northfield is part of the school’s Todd Lecture Series, named in honor of U.S. Army retired Maj. Gen. Russell Todd, who is also Norwich president emeritus.
