PITTSFORD - Flames consumed a garage at Giddings' Kubota tractor dealership on Route 7 today.
No one was injured in the fire, which started in a building at the back of the property just south of town.
But the yellow-sided, tin-roofed garage, which housed a number of tractors and snowmobiles was completely destroyed before firefighters from four towns were able to bring the conflagration under control.
Pittsford Assistant Fire Chief Butch Shaw said the cause of the fire was not immediately known.Recent Vimeo VideoTOMORROW'S HEADLINES TODAY: Dramatic river rescue in Southern Vermont, Castleton moving ahead on sale of old town office building, Passover celebrated in Woodstock.Rutland Herald News Editor Alan Keays and sports reporter Tom Haley discuss some of the stories...TOMORROW'S HEADLINES TODAY: Woodstock Ave. lane reconfiguration trial will go forward despite resistance, Rutland city engineer decamps for greener pastures in flatlands, technology changes the way many people file tax returns.News Editor Alan Keays and digital editor Patty Minichiello discuss some of the stories planned for...TOMORROW'S HEADLINES TODAY: Police officer identified in deadly Brattleboro shooting, school consolidation boosters silent on savings, lawmakers nix legal marijuana for PTSD and scrap yard helps solve half-ton heist.Rutland Herald News Editor Alan Keays along with staff writers Brent Curtis and Darren Marcy...
