RUTLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Brian Gaura of Rutland announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gaura, to Ryan Sargent, son of Dennis and Colleen Sargent of North Chelmsford, Mass.
The future bride is also the daughter of the late Lori Lafrancois. She is a 2005 graduate of Rutland High School and attends the University of Southern Maine in Portland. She is employed by Bangor Savings Bank.
The future groom is a 2006 graduate of Chelmsford (Mass.) High School. He is serving with the U.S. Coast Guard, and is currently stationed in Portmouth, N.H.
A wedding is planned for fall 2010.
