In Enosburg, Chad Woodruff came up with another big performance, scattering four singles as Poultney upset No. 3 Enosburg 6-0 in a Division III tournament game on Tuesday.
"He's had three dandies his last three starts but when you knock off the No. 3 team …" said Poultney coach Dan Williams.

Poultney scored a run in the first on Nick Prior's sacrifice fly. Prior and Will Bergen had two hits apiece and Dan Devlin a run-scoring single for Poultney.
Trevor Price took the loss for the 12-4 Green Hornets.
The victory set up a rubber game with Green Mountain; the Chieftains and Blue Devils split during the regular season.
L&G 9, Twin Valley 4
In Townshend, the No. 2 Leland & Gray Rebels scored four runs in the first inning and used that as a springboard against Twin Valley in the playdown round of the Division III playoffs.
Tyler Russell slammed a triple off the left-field fence to help ignite the 15-2 Rebels in that first inning. Zach Peterson and Trevor Howe also knocked in runs in the frame.
Russell had a big day with a single, double and triple in his four plate appearances. Chris Marcucci added a two-run homer for the Rebels. James Crowther knocked in another run for L&G and Howe added two hits.
Gabe Pozzi started for Leland & Gray and worked 3.2 innings. Howe worked the rest of game to get the win.

Harwood 3, Windsor 2
In Duxbury, the No. 6 Highlanders scored three times in the fifth inning to overcome a 1-0 deficit and that was enough to get past No. 11 Windsor. Ryan White slugged a two-run double and Nate Vasseur knocked in the other run with a two-bagger in support of Reed Brown.

Hunter Knox took the loss, giving up seven hits over seven innings, giving up a walk and fanning six. Knox and Brian Holloway had two hits apiece and each drove in a run.
